Highgrove Homes acquires Structural Design Workshop

Founded in 2001 by Terry P. R. Kennedy I.Eng A.M.I. Struct. E Structural Design Workshop is an engineering consultancy that provides structural/civil engineering and project management services to the private, public and commercial sectors of the construction industry. During this time Terry worked on some very high profile projects like the Lords Cricket Ground Media Centre where he was responsible for the design and implementation of the whole temporary support structure.

Founding Structural Design Workshop has also enabled Terry to develop his expertise and gain experience across an even broader spectrum of disciplines including mining securing and conservation, low rise residential development and working on the conservation of some of the country's most treasured and historical buildings for the National Trust and English Heritage where he has been responsible for structural condition reports and remedial work schemes for Pendennis Castle, North Petherwin Church, Lewannick Church, St Mary & St. Josephs Parish Church of Rame and The Hurst, Clun, Shropshire to name a few.

Terry has built an enviable reputation as a highly respected professional within Cornwall and enjoys an excellent working relationship with all the local planning and building control authorities.


Construction starts at Langport, Somerset

Construction of the 19 luxury 1,2,3 & 4 bedroom properties has now started. Bob Allgrove ( Regional Director) reports that everything is on track and the first unit will be ready for occupation in September/October 05.
